Chris Chinchilla

Ormai grazie alla crescente popolarità della sua nuova band (Macaca Mulatta) e ai numerosi live da solista, per Chris Chinchilla il periodo come chitarrista degli Art Brut sembra sempre più lontano.
E a riempire l'agenda del giovane londinese concorre anche la sua nuova attività di DJ, spesso sotto il nickname La Familia Estafez, progetto iniziato con l'intento di assicurare alle orecchie del pubblico la miglior musica, indipendentemente dalla fama delle band suonate.
Dopo quasi un anno di serate in tutta Londra (e residency al Windmill di Brixton), qualcuna in Europa e un paio in Nuova Zelanda ora La Familia Estafez sta raccogliendo i plausi meritati di tanti sforzi, lo testimonia anche la recente segnalazione sull'NME.
